Research
This newly established
section undertakes research to enhance our knowledge of weather and
climate as well as factors that influence their variability in
Lesotho. Our work also pays special attention to understanding climate
change, particularly its adverse impacts and how Lesotho can minimize
them. Most important, the section looks beyond science at how climate
information can be effectively incorporated in decision-making to help
Basotho manage climate fluctuations, extremes, and change.
